How do I pause copying, and what happens to open trades?

Pausing Copy Trading stops new copied entries. It does not automatically erase trades already open in your broker account, so open trades still need attention.

A pause and offboarding checkpoint.

Pause means future copying

Pause is about what happens next. It is the control to use when you do not want new copied trades to start while you decide what to do.

Open trades are separate. They are already in your broker account. Check Activity and your broker before assuming they are finished.

Before pausing

  • Check whether any copied trades are open.
  • Decide whether you want to stop new copied entries only.
  • Use the Copy Trading page for the control action.
  • Message Currents if open trades make the choice unclear.

Does pause withdraw my money?

No. Withdrawal is a broker action. Pause is a Copy Trading control.
