How does the 25% fee work?

Currents charges 25% of new profit above your previous high point. It is not a charge on your original broker deposit, and Currents does not hold the money in your account.

A Currents billing notice.

The plain version

The fee is tied to new profit only. If your copied profit moves above its old high point, Currents calculates 25% of the new bit above that line.

Your broker still holds your money. Billing is separate from broker deposits and withdrawals.

A simple example

  1. Your previous high point is $1,000 profit.
  2. This month your copied profit reaches $1,200.
  3. The new profit above the high point is $200.
  4. Currents' 25% fee applies to the $200, so the fee is $50.

Is the fee charged on my deposit?

No. The fee is not charged on your original deposit. It is tied to new profit above the high-water mark.
